TRB142 comes with a widely used RS232 interface for remote device management.
It is equipped with mission-critical LTE Cat 1 capabilities and software based on OpenWRT, hence offering a high degree of customization.
Just like the other TRB series products, it provides a wide range of software features such as SMS control, VPN, IPsec, Firewall, and FOTA support.
This gateway is durable, offers a wide range of power supply voltages, and is compatible with Teltonika Networks Remote Management System (RMS).

The Teltonika TRB142 is an industrial CAT1 2G/3G gateway, featuring a Micro-USB socket and an RS232 port. This gateway uses a highly customisable Linux environment with mission-critical LTE capabilities that make it excellent for a wide variety of advanced IoT scenarios, such as providing network access to industrial equipment and computers.
The RS232 port supported by the TRB142 is widely used for remote device management; its 1.2GHz processor and 128Mb of RAM ensures it can excel at this for any device. Among the various other features, the TRB142 supports are firewall services, FOTA, SSH, CLI and SMS utilities.
The TRB142 is extremely energy efficient and its frame is robust as well as being small and lightweight, making it highly adaptable and reliable for many scenarios, whether domestic or industrial.
